I am a regular viewer of YouTube and many of the board game channels. Seeing all the coverage for Art Society since Essen has been a blast. After about 3 months it is time to compile many of the videos into once easy to find place.  If you find or know of any videos that I've missed, let me know.  This is the designer diary for Art Society. Originally posted on Board Game Geek  ==== In December 2022 I went to PAXU for the first time. It was  Mighty Boards ' first U.S. appearance, us being from the little island of Malta (Europe). It was also one of my first times in the U.S. in general. There was a lot for me to absorb and learn, and a lot of memories: Philadelphia as a city, the food, the people, how U.S. fairs differ from European ones. Two things I will never forget are the moment  Mitch Wallace  approached me and the smile I could feel creeping onto my face the first time I started playing what would become  Art Society . I had flashes of images in my head of what the game could look like, what the game could feel like. I instantly loved what I saw. I think our team really managed to execute on that vision thanks to Mark Casha's art direction, Max Kosek's graphics, and the excellent team of six illustrators who made this very art-heavy game happ...

I am pleased to announce that my first board game is being published! Art Society is a game for 2-4 players, in which all players are art connoisseurs acquiring paintings to have the most impressive art collection. Through multiple rounds, players bid on paintings to fill their personal gallery wall. The value of the paintings is determined by players' from an auction every round. Collection the best paintings for the most impressive art collection! The game has 116 unique paintings, with additional art for the decor, which has been exciting to see come to life. The graphic designers, Mark Casha and Max Kosek, and artists; Veronica Grassi , Max Kosek , Angelica Regini , Sofia Rossi , Doris Shermadhi , and Giacomo Vichi did an amazing job.  Art Society is open for pre-order through the publisher Mighty Boards .  The estimated retail release is November. If you want it, don’t wait for retail. Make sure you get it through the pre-order.
